A/R: Six injured in Zongo and Asante youth clash

A violent clash between some Zongo youth on the one side and Asante youth on the other at Ntonso in the Kwabre East Municipality of the Ashanti Region on Monday, 5 July 2021, has led to the injury of six people.
The clash is said to have started between the two feuding factions at a nightclub called 'No Size' on Sunday night.
The cause of the renewed violence on Monday morning is not immediately known.
Some schools near the area have been closed down.
Justina Appia Kubi, a teacher at Ntonso R/C primary, said parents rushed to the school to take their children home.
As a result, the school closed to ensure the children returned home safety.
Security personnel have been deployed to the area to restore peace.
