The funeral service for Master Bennet Papa Nii Adjetey Odamtten, an Ada Senior High School student who tragically died by drowning in the Volta River, is scheduled to take place today, Friday, November 17, 2023.

The form two SHS student lost his life a few weeks ago along with a fellow student. 

The unfortunate incident occurred when the students, facing water shortage at their school, went to the Volta River to bathe. Tragically, they were swept away by tidal waves, despite attempts by onlookers to rescue them.

The funeral proceedings will culminate in the interment of Master Bennet Papa Nii Adjetey Odamtten's remains at La in the Dadekotopon municipality of the Greater Accra Region.

The funeral service serves as a somber occasion to bid farewell to the departed student and offer condolences to the grieving family
