Dec polls: Don’t be puppets for politicians – Police to youth

The Ashanti Regional Police Commander, COP Kwasi Mensah Duku has cautioned the youth not to allow themselves to be used as puppets to foment troubles in the December polls.
He urged them to stay away from acts that can gain them the reputation of being called trouble makers in the elections.
COP Duku said this at the passing out parade of 168 recruits at the regional police training school in Kumasi today, Friday, 27.
He also called on political leaders not to offer their party and political identity to hooligans and criminals to enable them to commit their usual violence in the name of politics.
He said the police are ready to unmask and strip any hoodlum off his or her political colours and swiftly bring such individuals to answer the very crimes they commit without fear or favour.
