Defence Minister to address youth on ‘Influence’ at IYES summit in Accra
Defence Minister Dr. Edward Omane Boamah is set to deliver a keynote address at the ongoing International Youth Empowerment Summit (IYES) today at 11:00 am at the UPSA Auditorium in Accra.
Speaking on the theme “Influence”, Dr. Omane Boamah will engage the youth of Ghana and Africa on the true essence of influence, emphasizing that it extends beyond power to impact and transformation.
“Influence is not just about power! Influence is about impact!” the minister stated ahead of his address.
He further noted that influence has been the silent force behind revolutions, great movements, and every significant change the world has witnessed.
The IYES Summit, which brings together young leaders, entrepreneurs, and changemakers from across the continent, aims to inspire, equip, and empower the next generation to drive positive change.
Dr. Omane Boamah’s speech is expected to motivate young people to harness their influence for national and continental development, reinforcing the need for purpose-driven leadership in Africa
