Disregard election prophecies, they’re “wrong, false and fake” – Frimpong Manso to Mahama

The President of the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council, Rev Prof Paul Frimpong Manso, has admonished the flag bearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr John Dramani Mahama, and his running mate, Prof Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, to disregard election prophecies ahead of the December polls.
Rev Frimpong Manso condemned the act of prophesying about elections, which become a widespread practice during elections, when the former President, together with some leaders of the party, met members of the Christian Council of Ghana and church leaders at the Assemblies of God Church today, Wednesday, 12 August 2020 to formally introduce Prof Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang to them.
According to him, such prophecies are “wrong, false and fake”.
In his view, those behind such prophecies use them to exploit politicians and create confusion.
"God has given the power to choose the leader through elections, campaigns, through the ballot box. If it will be through prophecies, there will not be the need for elections and campaigns and ballot boxes. Dear politicians, these people can exploit you, they can create confusion and they will make things wrong,” he said.
