Finance Ministry appoints top directors

The Ministry of Finance has appointed US-based economist Dr. Sa-d Iddrisu and Joy FM anchor Raymond Acquah to key positions within the Ministry.
In an internal memo dated March 11, 2025, and addressed to all divisional directors—while also copied to the Minister and Deputy Minister and signed by the Chief Director, Eva Esselba Mends confirmed the appointments.
Dr. Iddrisu has been named Economic Advisor, Research, while Mr. Acquah will serve as Technical Advisor, Strategic Communications.
Their appointments are expected to strengthen the ministry’s economic research and public engagement efforts.
