God grant Aunty Muni a place in paradise and grant Chef Faila the strength to bring the record home - Mahama

Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama has expressed sadness at the passing of popular waakye seller, Auntie Muni.
Auntie Muni passed away on Wednesday, 3 January 2024 at the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) in Accra after a short illness.
Mr Mahama described the day of the demise of the popular waakye seller as “sad.”
“It’s both a sad day and a day filled with hope!,” Mr Mahama said in a Facebook post.
Touching on the ongoing attempt by Chef Faila, who is engaged in a cook-a-thon to break the Guinness world record for the longest number of hours spent cooking, the NDC flagbearer painted a picture of the image he saw while travelling from his hometown Bole in the Savannah Region.
“As I transited through Tamale on my way to my hometown, Bole, the city was agog and filled with excitement at the start of young Chef Failatu Abdul Razak's attempt to break the Guinness world record for the longest number of hours spent cooking. The latest reports indicate that she's already passed the 52-hour mark,” Mr Mahama narrated.
He added: “May God grant Hajia Muni a place in paradise, and may he give young Chef Failatu the energy and strength to bring the record home to Ghana.”
