Police invites Abronye DC over claims of coup plot by Mahama
The Police has invited the Bono regional chairman of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) Kwame Baffoe aka Abronye DC to assist in investigations over claims that former President John Dramani Mahama is allegedly planning to stage a coup.
The police said Abronye DC is to report to the regional headquarters by 4pm today failure of which he will be arrested.
The Police last weekend arrested Convener of #FixTheCountry Movement, Oliver Barker-Vormawor at the Kotoka International Airport as soon as he touched down from abroad for a suggestive coup threats he posted on Facebook.
He has been charged with treason felony.
He was denied bail earlier this week and remanded in custody.
