Police outdoors ‘OPERATION PAARI’ to check rider indiscipline

The Ghana Police Service has outdoored an action against rider indiscipline called “OPERATION PAARI” to check indiscipline among motorcycle users.
The initiative according to the police has multiple components which will be introduced in phases.
The first phase involves the deployment of teams of Police riders with body cameras to monitor the conduct of riders at major intersections and other strategic locations.
The teams will follow offending riders and arrest them at convenient and safe locations.
Such riders will be prosecuted, named and shamed.
The Police in a statement announcing the operation cautioned riders to be self-disciplined and follow traffic regulations.
