Remain loyal to God in your thoughts – Jehovah’s Witnesses told

At a circuit assembly titled: ‘Be strong’ held at the Accra Assembly Hall, Baatsona, Accra on Sunday, 14 April 2019, one of the speakers, Nana Agyei Boabeng explained that the devil desires to see faithful servants of God disobeying the grand creator.
He, therefore, urged Jehovahs Witnesses to demonstrate with their actions and inactions that they can remain loyal to God.
“Let us show Satan that we can be loyal to Jehovah even in our thinking when no one is seeing us,” he said.
He added: “We will obey Jehovah not because we are scared of an elder but because we are loyal to Jehovah”.
Another speaker, Kwaku Boateng noted that in spite of the challenges that the servants of God may face, the Holy Spirit will help obedient servants to deal with those problems.
“No matter the challenges we face, strong faith will help us deal with them. Jehovah’s Holy Spirit will help us cope with our anxieties. We also have the angels, the Bible as well as faithful servants who are a gift Jehovah has given to strengthen us and give us comfort.”
For his part, Mr Steven Mclntyre urged the members to note that the trials they face are meant to test the quality of their faith in God.
“Trials come in many forms, they are unexpected but they help us to have a tested quality of our faith. James 1:13.”
He added: “When we pray to Jehovah, he will listen. When we go through trials and remain obedient to Jehovah, he takes note.”
Some of the topics discussed included: Be Strong – Build Your Faith; Jehovah – Our source of Strength and Power; Be Strong – Zealously preach, teach and train; From a weak state, be made powerful; Be strong – Uphold Jehovah’s sovereignty as a youth, as marriage mates.
