SONABEL visits GRIDCo
A delegation from the National Electricity Company of Burkina Faso, Société Nationale d'électricité du Burkina Faso (SONABEL), has paid a working visit to the Ghana Grid Company (GRIDCo).
The Bukinabe delegation led by its Board Chairman Dr Konate Souleymane and Director General Daniel Serme held a meeting with the Management team of GRIDCo during the visit.

Discussions were centred around the ongoing transformer repair works for the Nayagnia Sub Station, headquartered in the Upper East Region of Ghana.
The two companies, also discussed commitments towards continuous export of bulk power to Burkina Faso ahead of the country’s hot season.
The Burkinabe Electricity Company, also updated the GRIDCo team on some power projects and proposed two alternative power connections in order to expend power supply further, to other towns in Burkina Faso.
Chief Executive, Ing Ebenezer Essienyi, on behalf of the GRIDCo Management, assured the Bukinabe delegation of his company’s commitment to delivering on the agreement.
