Theresa Kufuor not dead

The Office of former President John Agyekum Kufuor has described as "erroneous", reports circulating on social media alluding to the death of former First Lady Theresa Kufuor.
According to the office, Mrs Kufuor is alive and currently home at Airport Residential Area.
The office, in a statement, however, confirmed the passing away of a younger sister to the former First Lady, Mary Mensah, on Thursday morning, 29 of August 2019.
The statement signed by Dr Kwabena Osei-Adubofour, Senior Aide to, and Spokesman for former President John Kufuor, urged all well-wishers and loved one to disabuse their minds of the fact that Ghana has lost a First Lady.
This is not the first time rumours of the death of Mrs Kufuor have been circulating on social media.
