There are few home-grown confirmed cases in China right now, a decisive victory was secured but we are still vigilant and extremely cautious".

Meanwhile, Deputy Minister of Health Dr Bernard Okoe Boye says Ghana's National Case Management Team will strongly rely on the agreement signed by President Akufo-Addo and other world leaders to freely access and adopt the newly approved drug discovered by UK researchers as part of its strategy to scale up recovery of Covid-19 patients in Ghana.
Over 140 world leaders on May 14, 2020, appended signatures to agreement in Geneva that requires that all Covid-19 vaccines, test, treatment be patent-free and fairly distributed all countries free of charge. Dr Okoe Boys told Class FM that "the UK drug has already approved for critical cases through clinical trials. It's very instructive that we share this with our National Case Management Team to adopt it quickly so we apply in our conditions".
