All Mortuary workers across the country will from Wednesday, 29 November 2023, lay down their tools.

According to the Mortuary Workers Association of Ghana (MOWAG), it arrived at the decision to embark on an indefinite nationwide strike at its general meeting as all avenues to resolve its grievances has proven “futile.”

MOWAG hinted at the intended strike in a letter addressed to the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Employment and Labour Relations, Finance and National Security Ministers, the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission (FWSC), and the National Labour Commission (NLC).
