Nkawkaw MP donates medical supplies to Kwahu West Health Directorate

The Member of Parliament for Nkawkaw Constituency in the Eastern Region, Mr Joseph Frempong, has donated essential medical equipment and supplies to the Kwahu West Health Directorate in a bid to strengthen healthcare delivery in the area.
The donation, made possible through a partnership between Mr. Frempong, Direct Care International, and the Peace and Love Hospital in Kumasi, included surgical gowns, nose masks, and essential drugs.
Presenting the items, Mr. Frempong urged health officials to ensure the supplies are used strictly for their intended purpose, cautioning against diverting or selling them to the public.
He reaffirmed his commitment to improving access to quality healthcare in the constituency, stressing that initiatives like this form part of his broader efforts to support community health needs.
Receiving the items on behalf of the Health Directorate, Catherine Tossah, a physician assistant, expressed deep appreciation to the MP for his continuous support.
She assured him that the medical supplies would be used effectively to benefit residents and improve service delivery across the district.
The gesture has been warmly welcomed by the community, with expectations that the supplies will go a long way in boosting healthcare delivery in Nkawkaw and its surrounding areas.
