A new Global InfoAnalytics poll suggests that National Democratic Congress (NDC) National Chairman Johnson Asiedu Nketia would lead former Vice President and New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer Dr Mahamudu Bawumia in a hypothetical 2028 presidential election contest.

According to an infographic posted by Executive Director Mussa Dankwah on Facebook, Mr Asiedu Nketia secures 54.2% of voter support against 37.1% for Dr Bawumia.

Former Assin Central MP and businessman Kennedy Agyapong places third with 4.8%, while 2.1% of respondents opted for "someone else."

Movement for Change leader Alan Kyerematen polls 1.0%, with New Force leader Nana Kwame 'Cheddar' Bediako receiving 0.8%.

The infographic is titled "2028 Elections – JAN-DMB-KOA as a Candidate," indicating a hypothetical presidential race involving Johnson Asiedu Nketia (JAN), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia (DMB) and Kennedy Agyapong (KOA), alongside other potential candidates.

Mr Dankwah did not provide additional details in the infographic regarding the poll's methodology, sample size, fieldwork period or margin of error.
