A/R: NDC Zongo Caucus chairman urges support for Mahama
Alhaji Said Sinare, the National Chairman of the NDC Zongo Caucus Working Committee, has sharply criticized the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), describing it as "the most ineffective government" Ghana has had since independence.
Speaking at the launch of the Ashanti Regional Loyal Ladies of the NDC in Tafo, he condemned the NPP as "corrupt and insensitive," claiming it has worsened economic hardship for Ghanaians.
Mr Sinare highlighted the soaring cost of goods and services under the current administration, asserting that these challenges have made life increasingly difficult for the average citizen.
Citing alleged corruption within the ruling party, he urged Ghanaians to reject the NPP and support former President John Dramani Mahama in the upcoming December elections to avoid further hardship.
Mr Sinare also warned that the NDC would stand firm against any attempts to manipulate the election results, calling on party members to monitor the voting process to ensure fairness and transparency.
At the event, Adisa Abdullai, Public Relations Officer for the Loyal Ladies of NDC, explained that the group was formed to conduct a door-to-door campaign aimed at reaching women in the region, encouraging them to support the NDC
