A future Mahama gov’t will be scary for ‘bad people’ – Asiedu Nketia
The National Chairman of the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia, has said a future government led by John Mahama will be “scary for bad people” in Ghana.
Speaking to supporters during a three-day regional tour in Sandema, Upper East Region, Mr. Nketia emphasised his party's commitment to recovering every pesewa misappropriated under the current New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration.
In his address, Mr. Nketia assured party members that the NDC would prioritise justice and fairness for law-abiding citizens while holding accountable those guilty of corruption and mismanagement of state resources.
“Let me assure you, the Mahama government is not scary for good people but certainly going to be scary for bad people in this country,” he asserted.
He urged all citizens, whether in government roles or private businesses, to adhere to principles of good citizenship.
“Because when we come to power, we must set standards that’ll be followed by generations yet unborn. And that is the surest way of ensuring development in this country,” he added.
