Akufo-Addo mourns late Namibian President

Ghana’s president Nana Akufo-Addo has eulogized Namibia's late President, Hage Geingob, who died at the age of 82 while receiving medical treatment at a hospital in the capital, Windhoek.
Nana Akufo-Addo in a tribute said president Geingob’s leadership, characterised by wisdom and compassion, will be remembered not only within the borders of Namibia, but also across the African continent.
It is Nana Akufo-Addo’s prayer that his successor will continue with the excellent relations that Namibia has built with Ghana.
A veteran of the country's independence struggle, Mr Geingob had been diagnosed with cancer and revealed the details to the public last month.
He died early on Sunday with his wife and children by his side, Vice-President Nangolo Mbumba announced.
