Akwatia: I can unite NPP for 2024 - Obeng-Danquah to NPP delegates

Nana Obeng-Danquah, a journalist and aspiring parliamentary candidate for the Akwatia Constituency in the Eastern Region, running under the New Patriotic Party (NPP) banner, has made a series of pledges aimed at fostering unity and development within the party if he is successful in the party's parliamentary primary.
In a flyer titled 'My Pledge to Akwatia Constituency and NPP', Mr Obeng-Danquah outlined nine key commitments:
Unifier: He vows to work towards uniting the party's members and supporters.
Effective Representation: He promises to provide efficient and effective representation for the constituency.
Party Office: Mr Obeng-Danquah pledges to establish a party office for the constituency.
Equitable Distribution of Common Fund: He commits to ensuring the fair distribution of the Common Fund for the benefit of the constituents.
Skills Training: He plans to initiate skills training programmes to empower the youth in the area.
Seminar for Gold Miners: He intends to organise seminars to support and educate gold miners in the constituency.
Lobby for Projects: He will actively lobby for developmental projects in the constituency.
Accountability: Mr Obeng-Danquah pledges to be transparent and accountable in his role as a representative.
Resource Mobilisation: He promises to mobilise resources to construct a party office for the constituency.
Mr Obeng-Danquah emphasised that during his tenure as MP, should he be successful, all delegates will receive benefits depending on the available opportunities.
He recognised the significance of delegates as representatives of the party's image in the constituency and pledged to give them a voice in their role.
He reiterated his commitment to working diligently to help build a party office for the constituency, among other endeavours to enhance the party's presence and impact in the Akwatia Constituency.
