Attorney-General to confer with ORAL team over recovered looted assets
The Attorney-General and Minister of Justice, Dr. Dominic Ayine, is set to meet with the Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) Committee next week to review its progress in retrieving looted public assets and assess key findings.
The ORAL Committee, established to investigate corruption and recover stolen state resources, has received over 700 petitions from individuals and organizations across the country.
Dr. Ayine announced that the meeting, expected to take place on Monday, will serve as a platform to evaluate the committee’s progress and outline the next steps in the asset recovery process.
“The ORAL Committee chaired by Samuel Okudzeto-Ablakwa will brief me next week on their progress, and I will officially take over their findings to ensure appropriate action is taken,” he stated.
The meeting is expected to mark a significant milestone in the government's anti-corruption efforts, reinforcing its commitment to reclaiming stolen assets and promoting transparency in public administration.
