Bawumia-NAPO dynamic pair to break the 8-Kweku Quarshie

A member of the governing New Patriotic Party's (NPP) communications team, Kweku Quarshie popularly called Biggles, says he has no doubt the flagbearer of the NPP, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia will deliver on his campaign promises if elected President.
He asserts that the synergy between the party’s flagbearer, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, and Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh will lead the party to victory in the 2024 general elections.
Mr Quarshie, lauded Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh, for his contribution towards education in Ghana and particularly for leading the rollout of the Free SHS programme.
He further reiterated the immense contribution of Dr Prempeh to the education sector during his tenure as the Minister of Education.
According to him, he has made history by leaving a Golden Legacy in the education sector through his hard work and commitment to duty, especially in prosecuting the government’s flagship project of Free Senior High School.
"NAPO’s dynamism in implementing the Government’s flagship Free SHS even though he is not an educationist was fantastic.
The same can be said of him at the Energy Ministry even though he’s not an energy expert he made sure the country had stable electricity throughout the country, he argues.
"The confident humility of Bawumia plus the mature youthful confidence of NAPO is a winning ticket for the NPP in the 2024 election.
Whereas Bawumia connects with the youth through the digitalisation agenda, NAPO connects to them with his youthful affable nature,"Mr Quarshie said.
“Mathew Opoku Prempeh is a colossus in Parliamentary practice having served four consecutive terms in the Ghanaian legislature.
He is a vociferous voice on legislative issues both in and out of parliament.
He understands the rudiments of parliamentary practice and has been at the forefront of the activities of the Ashanti caucus in Parliament."
Mr Quarshie describes the Member of Parliament for Manhyia South as a towering political figure capable of promoting harmony within the party, making him more suitable for the role.
He spoke an appearance on Accra-based Adom TV
