Duffuor pulls out of NDC race; says 'processes blatantly fraught with irregularities'

Dr Kwabena Duffuor has pulled out of the flag bearer race of the National Democratic Congress.
He told journalists on the eve of the Saturday, 13 May 2023 polls that he has been left with no choice than to take that route, as "I cannot contest in an election which is blatantly fraught with irregularities regardless of all my efforts to draw attention to save it".
Dr Duffuor earlier filed an interlocutory injuntion that sought to freeze the conduct of the primaries.
He later withdrew it from court paving the way for the polls to come off as scheduled.
