GA/R: Ablekuma West MP inspects gutter dredging project to tackle flooding in Dansoman

As part of his commitment to promoting development and addressing key challenges in his constituency, the Member of Parliament for Ablekuma West Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, Rev. Kweku Addo, has visited ongoing dredging works in Dansoman aimed at curbing persistent flooding in the area.
During his visit, Rev. Addo reaffirmed his dedication to finding lasting solutions to flooding in Ablekuma West.
He emphasised that no effort will be spared in ensuring that residents are no longer affected by avoidable floods during the rainy season.
"The issue of flooding in our communities must become a thing of the past.
We are working hard, and we will continue to do so until the problem is completely resolved," he said.
The MP noted that the ongoing dredging exercise has already begun yielding results, significantly reducing flood incidents in parts of Dansoman.
He added that his office is implementing long-term policies to boost infrastructural development and enhance the quality of life for residents across the constituency.
He explained that the dredging project forms part of a broader plan to improve drainage systems and support community resilience in the face of climate-related challenges
