Kumawu by-election: Vote Yaw Anim – Alan campaigns for NPP candidate
A flagbearer hopeful of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) Alan Kyerematen has called on the constituents of Kumawu to turn out in their numbers and vote massively for Mr. Ernest Yaw Anim as the next MP for the Kumawu constituency.
Mr Kyerematen made the call at a rally held over the weekend in Kumawu to mark the climax of the NPP campaign for the upcoming by-election scheduled for tomorrow Tuesday, May 23, 2023.
The former Trade Minister said “the great elephant remains the winning symbol.”
The people of Kumawu will head to the polls to elect a new Member of Parliament (MP).
The by-election was necessitated by the death of the sitting MP. Phillip Basoah, who was buried on Saturday, 20 May 2023.
The NPP candidate, Ernest Yaw Anim is competing with NDC candidate Kwasi Amankwaa and two independent candidates both coincidentally known as Kwaku Duah.
