Tema East MP sworn in as Board Chairman of TDC Ghana Limited

Member of Parliament for Tema East Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, Mr. Isaac Ashai Odamtten, has officially been sworn in as the Board Chairman of TDC Ghana Limited, a key state-owned urban planning and development company.
The ceremony, held in Accra, marks a significant milestone in the company’s leadership as Mr Odamtten takes over the strategic responsibility of steering TDC towards delivering on its mandate of sustainable urban development and housing delivery.
Mr. Odamtten, who previously served as Mayor of the Tema Metropolitan Assembly, brings a wealth of experience in local governance, urban management, and policy implementation.
His appointment is expected to boost stakeholder confidence in TDC’s mission to transform Tema and its environs into a modern, livable city.
In his acceptance remarks, the Tema East MP pledged to work collaboratively with management and board members to address the growing challenges of housing, land management, and infrastructure development.
He underscored the importance of transparency, innovation, and public-private partnerships in achieving the company's goals.
TDC Ghana Limited, formerly known as the Tema Development Corporation, plays a vital role in Ghana’s urban planning and real estate development sector.
The swearing-in of the new board chairman signals the government’s commitment to strengthening leadership within state-owned enterprises for improved efficiency and service delivery.
The event was attended by senior government officials, TDC management, staff, and dignitaries from the Tema community.
