Kwakye Ofosu denies claims of over 100 ministerial appointments

The Minister in charge of Government Communication, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, has dismissed allegations that President John Dramani Mahama has appointed over 100 ministers.
The claims were made on the floor of Parliament by the Member of Parliament for Damongo, Samuel Abu Jinapor, who accused the President of inflating the size of his government despite earlier assurances of a lean administration.
However, addressing the press earlier today, Kwakye Ofosu refuted the claims, emphasizing that President Mahama’s administration has the smallest government in the Fourth Republic.
He assured Ghanaians that ministerial appointments remain well below 100 and are in line with the government’s commitment to efficiency and prudent governance.
