Labour Minister, Dafeamekpor in separate accidents
Employment and Labour Relations Minister, Mr Ignatius Baffour-Awuah and the MP for South Dayi, Mr Rockson Dafeamekpor have been involved in separate accidents on Saturday, 14 August 2021.
While Mr Baffour-Awuah’s happened in the Bono Region, that of the South Dayi MP occurred in the Volta Region.
Mr Baffour-Awuah, who is the MP for Sunyani West, was returning from a funeral at Odumase and headed to Nsoatre.
Mr Rockson-Nelson Dafeamekpor, on the other hand, was returning from the funeral of the father of fellow opposition MP Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa in the Volta Region when the accident occurred at Aveyime.
Mr Dafeamekpor escaped unhurt.
Also, Mr Baffour-Awuah and those in his car, were rushed to the Bono Regional Hospital in Sunyani.
No casualties have been confirmed yet in either case.
