Mahama to host two youth events Aug 12 to mark Int'l Youth Day

The Mahama 2024 campaign has announced a full day of activities led by flag bearer, John Dramani Mahama, on Monday, August 12th, International Youth Day.
The activities according to a statement will focus on the youth and Mahama’s commitment to addressing their challenges.
In the morning, Mr Mahama will be expected to launch the NDC's Youth Manifesto at the University of Professional Studies Accra (UPSA), followed by a one-of-a-kind Mahama Youth Town Hall Meeting at the Bukom Boxing Arena in the evening.
These events, the statement signed by his aide, Joyce Bawah Mogtari, will showcase his initiatives and policies to tackle youth unemployment, providing education, skills and digital training, entrepreneurship, and more.
Mahama’s vision, they said is centered on “Building the Ghana we want together”.
“He believes in empowering the youth and creating opportunities for them to thrive and succeed,” it added.
