Mahama visits Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, sends her Mother’s Day wishes to Ghanaian women

President John Dramani Mahama has extended warm Mother’s Day wishes to his running mate, Prof Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, and all mothers across Ghana.
Mr. Mahama paid a visit to Prof Opoku-Agyemang earlier today as she continues to recover from a recent illness. Describing the visit as a pleasure, the President noted that she is taking a well-deserved rest and is looking forward to resuming her official duties in the coming days.
In a heartfelt message shared after the visit, Mr. Mahama said, “To her and all Ghanaian mothers, I say Happy Mother’s Day.”
Prof Opoku-Agyemang, who has been at the forefront of the National Democratic Congress (NDC)’s campaign efforts, is expected to return to full activity soon as the 2024 election season continues to unfold.
The President’s message has been widely welcomed by Ghanaians on social media, with many expressing their support and well wishes for the former Education Minister.
