Minority at the media engagement

The Minority Caucus of Ghana’s 9th Parliament has held a media engagement to highlight its activities over the past year under the theme: “Holding Government to Account: One Year of Active and Responsible Minority Scrutiny.”

The event, attended by journalists and key party officials, provided photo highlights and insights into the Minority’s role in promoting transparency, accountability, and legislative oversight.

During the engagement, the Minority showcased its interventions in Parliament, including debates, motions, and questions raised to scrutinise government policies and ensure that public resources are managed responsibly.

Party officials emphasised that the exercise reflects the caucus’s commitment to democratic governance and its constitutional mandate to hold the executive to account.

Visuals from the event highlighted interactions between Minority MPs and media representatives, as well as moments capturing discussions on key issues affecting Ghanaians over the past year.

The media engagement served as both a reflection on the Minority’s achievements and a platform to reinforce its ongoing role in strengthening parliamentary oversight in Ghana.
