The Minority Leader in Parliament, Alexander Afenyo-Markin, has held a meeting with Constituency Chairmen of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) from the Central Region as part of efforts to strengthen party cohesion ahead of the 2028 general elections.
The engagement, which took place at his office in Accra, focused on the themes of unity, discipline, and collective responsibility within the party.
Mr. Afenyo-Markin emphasised the importance of internal solidarity as the NPP prepares for the next electoral cycle.
During the meeting, the Minority Leader urged the Constituency Chairmen to remain committed to the party’s ideals and to mobilise support at the grassroots level.
He called on them to rally firmly behind the party’s flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, describing unity of purpose as critical to electoral success.
