NPP: Bawumia will make a better president – Sylvester Tetteh

Mr Sylvester Tetteh, the outspoken spokesperson for Mr. Alan Kyerematen's 2024 presidential campaign and Member of Parliament for the Ngleshie-Bortianor Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, has decided to join the campaign of Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
Mr. Tetteh, an NPP MP, made this announcement during an appearance on the "Good Morning Ghana" morning show on Metro TV in Accra, which was hosted by Dr. Randy Abbey.
He stated that he had engaged in extensive consultations with members of his constituency executives, both within and outside the party, following Mr. Kyerematen's decision to withdraw from the NPP's presidential primary scheduled for November 4, 2023.
He stated, "It is obvious, and I am making a firm commitment to support Dr. Bawumia for the November 4 elections. Alan is not in the race, and from the look of things, Dr. Bawumia will make a better president, he stressed.
“With the withdrawal of Alan, the party has to move forward, and as a member of the team, I also have to move on," he added.
Sylvester Tetteh's decision to switch his allegiance to Dr. Bawumia's campaign reflects his desire to align with the prevailing dynamics of the NPP's presidential race after Mr. Kyerematen's withdrawal from the race.
