NPP primaries: Patrick Boamah uses endorsement to highlight achievements

The Electoral Officer for Okaikwei Central Constituency, Mr Eunice Yeboah Quaye, joined hands with the Member of Parliament, Mr Patrick Boamah, as the delegates of the constituency enthusiastically acclaimed him as the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate for the upcoming 2024 general elections.
Explaining the overwhelming endorsement by the delegates, the Constituency Secretary, Mr Charles Owusu Kwarfo, revealed that the nomination process began on December 21, 2023.
However, only MP Patrick Boamah submitted the necessary forms, and the remaining forms were returned to the regional office by December 26, 2023.
Expressing gratitude after the resounding endorsement, Mr Boamah urged the delegates to take pride in the party's accomplishments as they approach the 2024 general elections.
He asserted that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) lacks a track record of development in the constituency and highlighted alleged structural defects in the much-touted Millennium School project by the NDC.
Reflecting on his project contributions from 2013 to 2023, Mr Boamah outlined various initiatives, including the provision of furniture for Tesano cluster of schools, a skills training programme, donation of a tricycle to the youth, sponsorship of driving licenses for driver's mates, presentation of medical equipment to the Municipal Health Directorate, construction of an astroturf at Apenkwa, financial support for Basic Education Certificate Examination beneficiaries, distribution of 20,000 books to all schools in the constituency, installation of 1121 streetlights to enhance security, implementation of an insurance policy for both delegates and non-delegates and support to local churches, among other achievements.
His message emphasised the NPP's commitment to continued progress and development in the constituency leading up to the 2024 elections.
He pledged to ensure a one-touch victory for Dr Mahamadu Bawumia.
