Ghana’s national football team will establish its training base at Bryant University during this summer’s 2026 FIFA World Cup, according to a report by NBC 10 News.

The Black Stars are expected to use the Rhode Island campus as their preparation hub for the tournament, which will be jointly hosted by United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Local organising group Ocean State 2026 is set to officially confirm Ghana’s choice of Bryant University during a scheduled news conference. The university earned its place in the competition’s Base Camp Brochure after undergoing detailed inspections and evaluations by FIFA officials.

Bryant’s sporting infrastructure has a proven track record, having previously hosted the training camps of the New England Patriots for nearly 20 years.

For the group stage, Ghana will open its campaign in Toronto against Panama on June 17. The team will then travel to Foxborough to face England six days later, before concluding Group L play in Philadelphia against Croatia on June 27.

The Rhode Island base is expected to provide the Black Stars with a stable and well-equipped environment as they prepare for the global showpiece.
