Black Stars technical team visits Greater Accra Regional Hospital to uplift patients and staff
The technical team of the Black Stars paid a visit to the Greater Accra Regional Hospital today, spending time with healthcare workers, new mothers, and patients at the maternity ward.
The team, led by the Black Stars’ technical staff, engaged with hospital personnel and families, offering words of encouragement and presenting modest gifts as a token of appreciation.
The Ghana Football Association boss, Kurt Okraku, described the visit as a humbling experience that highlighted the role of football in inspiring hope and supporting communities beyond the pitch.
Speaking during the visit, Mr Okraku said the team hopes that such interactions reinforce the responsibility that comes with representing Ghana, especially as the Black Stars prepare for their fifth appearance at the FIFA World Cup 2026 in North America.
The team expressed gratitude for the unwavering support of Ghanaians, pledging to continue honouring that support both on and off the field.
They underscored that football is not only about competition but also about fostering unity, compassion, and community engagement.
