Abdul-Rasheed Saminu advances to men’s 100m semifinals at Paris 2024 Olympics

Ghana’s Abdul-Rasheed Saminu has advanced to the semifinals of the Men’s 100 Metre Race at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Saminu secured third place in Heat Five with a time of 10.06 seconds, following Kayinsola Ajayi of Nigeria (10.02 seconds) and Marcel Jacobs of Italy (10.05 seconds).
Saminu and Ajayi, who embraced after the race, both confirmed their spots in the semifinals.
Jacobs, the defending Olympic champion, has overcome recent injuries to compete.
