Charles Osei Asibey re-elected Vice President of World Armwrestling Federation
President of the Ghana Armwrestling Federation, Mr Charles Osei Asibey, has been re-elected as a Vice President and Executive Board Member of the World Armwrestling Federation (WAF).
The elections were held on Friday in Albena, Bulgaria.
Osei Asibey, who has been instrumental in the growth of armwrestling in Ghana and across Africa, expressed his gratitude to all who supported his journey.
“I remain committed to the development and promotion of sports.
I am grateful to the Almighty, my family, friends, Africa, and the world for the encouragement,” he said after his re-election.
His continued role at the global governing body is expected to further strengthen Ghana’s influence in the sport and boost armwrestling’s development on the African continent.
