Guardiola: Samuel Eto'o was incredible and 'one of the best'

Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has described Samuel Eto'o as 'one of the best' players he has coached.
The ex-Cameroon forward played under Guardiola during his first season in 2008-09, finishing as top scorer with 30 competitive goals, and winning a treble for the first time ever.
“Incredible player, outstanding striker, one of the best I met and have seen, personality, character, top scorer, more pressure, better performance. I had him for one season.” Guardiola told the media.
Eto'o has been critical of Guardiola despite his exploits under him. He still found success at Inter Milan, winning another treble under Jose Mourinho during the 2009-10 season.
The former Real Madrid player recently announced his retirement from professional football, scoring 420 goals in 877 career appearances, winning 18 titles, including two Africa Cup of Nations titles with Cameroon and an Olympic gold medal.
