‘We have not placed any transfer valuation on Benjamin Asare’ - Hearts of Oak
Ghana Premier League giants Accra Hearts of Oak have dismissed reports linking goalkeeper Benjamin Asare with a transfer valuation.
In a publication released on their Facebook page, the club stated; “Accra Hearts of Oak has not placed any valuation on Benjamin Asare, and has not authorised any individual or media outlet to communicate a transfer fee or asking price on its behalf.”
The Phobians moved to clarify their position after speculation emerged this week suggesting the club had placed a price tag on the Ghanaian goalkeeper who has been in strong form for both club and country.
Asare joined Hearts in 2023 and quickly established himself as first choice.
His performances earned him a call-up to the Black Stars where he has continued to impress and was outstanding in the 2026 world cup.
Hearts are currently focused on the Ghana Premier League campaign and the FA Cup with the technical team keen to keep the core of the squad intact.
The club’s stance signals its determination to hold on to top performers amid growing interest from local and foreign clubs in the Phobian side's players.
