Akufo-Addo appoints Oquaye Jnr. as Free Zones CEO

President Nana Akufo-Addo has appointed Mr Michael Oquaye Jnr. as the Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Free Zones Authority (GFZA).
Ghana's former High Commissioner to India, will, thus, be leading the Authority designed to promote the processing and manufacturing of goods through the establishment of Export Processing Zones (EPZs), as well as encourage the development of commercial and service activities at sea and airport areas.
Mike Oquaye Jnr., son of former Speaker Prof Mike Oquaye, will be replacing Mr Michael Okyere Baafi, who is now the MP for New Juaben South in the Eastern Region.
Mr Baafi is also the Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry.
