DVLA commences 2022 plates in January

The management of the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) has announced that it will commence the registration of vehicles for the year 2022 come January 2, 2022.
According to a statement released by the management dated 30 November 2021, it will be introducing a new suffix '22' to represent the 2022 year of registration.
As part of measures to avoid long delays and crowding at the various registration centres in anticipation of the characteristic rush to register and licence vehicles, the DVLA announced the following processes and requirements for the registration:
