GLICO Group pays tribute to late Asantehemaa with support and condolence visit

The Founder and Executive Chairman of GLICO Group, Mr. Kwame Achampong-Kyei, has led a high-powered delegation from the company to the Manhyia Palace to extend condolences to the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, ahead of the final funeral rites of the late Asantehemaa, Nana Konadu Yiadom III.
As part of its support, GLICO funded the mounting of two giant billboards — one at the Manhyia Roundabout and the other at the main entrance of the Manhyia Palace — to publicly announce the burial rites of the revered queen mother, who passed away earlier this year at the age of 98.
The delegation included Edward Fokuo Kyei, Group CEO; Sir Daniel Charles Gyimah, Board Member; Derrick Appiah Kyei, CEO of KAK; as well as the Managing Directors of GLICO Life, GLICO General, and GLICO Capital.
The company expressed its deep respect for the late Asantehemaa and reaffirmed its solidarity with the Asante Kingdom during this historic period of mourning.
