GRA engages taxpayers on VAT reforms, new Act implementation
The Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) has held an engagement session with taxpayers at the Airport View Hotel to explain recent Value Added Tax (VAT) reforms, outline key changes introduced under the new Act, and respond to questions and concerns from stakeholders.
The session also served as a platform to brief taxpayers on transitional measures designed to ensure a smooth and effective implementation of the reforms.
The engagement was chaired by the Area Director for Accra West, Ms. Anna Attuah, and featured presentations by resource persons Mr. Kingsley Konadu, Mr. Lawrence Hotsonyame, and Mr. David Quarcoopome, who provided detailed explanations and clarifications on the reforms.
Participants were encouraged to seek clarification on the new VAT regime, as the GRA reaffirmed its commitment to transparency, taxpayer education and improved compliance under the revised tax framework.
