ILAPI launches Centre for Coin Liberty

The Institute for Liberty and Policy Innovation on Thursday, June 16, 2022, launched its Center for Coin Liberty.
An initiative dedicated to using evidence-based methods and research to create constant and continuous public engagement to shape legislation for blockchain adoption.
Speaking to the media on the sideline of the launch, the Director at the Centre for Coin Liberty, ILAPI, Mr. Nathaniel Dwamena indicated that the Centre will focus on achieving impact by influencing public policy for blockchain solution integration for development and building readiness for the use of blockchain and decentralized solution in Ghana and Africa.
“The purpose of the Centre is to use evidence-based methods and research to create constant and continuous public engagement to shape legislation for blockchain adoption.”
“It is very important because blockchain is a technology that is transforming various aspects of society, especially countries that have commenced the adoption of it and it can be used in various activities,” He said.
Mr Dwamena also noted that the Centre is not a cryptocurrency investment scheme, cryptocurrency investment advisors, or to push the youth into cryptocurrency investment.
The Chairman for the launch, Selorm Brantie, Global Strategy Director/Vice President, IMANI Africa commended the Centre for this bold initiative and assured them of self-evidence results if they commit to it.
The Institute for Liberty and Policy Innovation is a Think Tank that undertakes Private Sector Development and Business Regulatory Research, Free-market Economics Advocacy, International Relations, Rule of Law, and Security Education.
