Registrar-General to officially launch 9-day 2025 Ghana Garden and Flower Show

The much-anticipated 13th edition of the Ghana Garden and Flower Show (GGFS) officially opens this Saturday, 20th September 2025, with a colourful opening ceremony at the Efua Sutherland Children’s Park, Accra.
Dr Christine Amoah-Nuamah, Chairperson of the Environmental Protection Agency, is the Special Guest of Honour for the opening ceremony.
H.E. Mohammed Nasheed, Secretary General, Climate Vulnerable Forum (CVF) and Vulnerable Twenty (V20) Secretariat, is the Keynote Speaker while Ms Grace Ama Issahaque, Registrar-General of Ghana, will deliver an address as Guest Speaker to officially declare the nine-day event opened.
Running until Sunday, 28th September 2025, the Show will deliver nine vibrant days of inspiration, innovation, and interaction under the theme: Urban Places, Green Spaces.
Strategic Communications Africa Ltd (Stratcomm Africa) established the Ghana Garden and Flower Movement (GGFM), and its flagship programme, the Ghana Garden and Flower Show (GGFS) 13 years ago with the vision of building a Greener, Cleaner, Healthier, Wealthier and more Beautiful Ghana.
GGFS is organised annually at the Efua Sutherland Children’s Park in Accra.
The Show, which began with 14 exhibitors and 1,400 visitors 13 years ago, now attracts more than 100 exhibitors and over 30,000 visitors annually.
It has become a very well sought-after platform for promoting sustainable living, including the fight against Climate Change.
Our approach involves creating awareness about the environmental, commercial, health and aesthetic benefits associated with floriculture, horticulture, gardening and agriculture in general.
The Ghana Garden and Flower Show is a vibrant platform for learning, networking, fun, and knowledge sharing.
It attracts a diverse audience, including garden enthusiasts, youth, families, diplomats, sustainability advocates, eco-conscious individuals, the media, corporate Ghana, and the general public to explore how greener urban spaces can drive wellness, climate resilience, and economic growth..
Highlights of the 2025 GGFS include:
Nine days of exhibitions showcasing floriculture, horticulture, landscaping, and eco-friendly solutions. Green to Riches Conference, spotlighting green entrepreneurship, access to finance and business growth opportunities especially for the youth. Masterclasses and demonstrations offering practical skills and hands-on learning. Children’s activities under the Little Green Fingers programme. Evening events including Music Night, Drama Night, and the Fashion Show.Speaking ahead of the opening of this year’s GGFS, Ms. Esther A. N.
