Your success proof that a Ghanaian company can be a market leader – Bawumia to TCCL

Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia on Wednesday, 22 June 2022, joined the management of Tropical Cable and Conductor Limited (TCCL), and other stakeholders in the energy sector, for the 25th Anniversary of TCCL at its Head Office in Tema.
Dr Bawumia said 25 years in the life of a business is worth celebrating, and for an indigenous company like TCCL, which started on a modest note and went through the challenges of industrialization, its achievement is even more remarkable.
He noted that industrialization, through the government’s flagship 1D1F, has been a strategic priority, and “we are committed to continuing our support for local industries so that they can be ready for the emerging global architecture of self-reliance by nations.”
The success of TCCL, he added, is further proof that a Ghanaian company is capable of becoming a market leader and globally competitive.
