Ghanaian singer-songwriter Susan Augustt will take the stage on August 30, 2025, for the fourth edition of her acclaimed ‘Augustt in August’ concert at Alliance Française in Accra, featuring an all-female lineup celebrating women in Ghana's growing alternative music scene.

What started as a personal musical expression has evolved into a cultural movement championing women, sound and soulful artistry.

This year's event, themed “Women, Their Crown, and Earth,” promises an immersive, Afrocentric experience fusing live music and visual storytelling.

Susan will perform with her trusted 10-piece Adorkor Band, delivering a sonic journey rooted in Ghanaian tradition but influenced by global sounds, blending neo-soul, highlife, jazz and traditional rhythms.

The night will feature performances from Ghana's rising and established female creatives including Lamisi, Elsie Raad, Apiorkor, Malaika, Alaptawan and a special appearance by The AGISS Band from Accra Girls Senior High School.

The concert serves as a launchpad for Susan's upcoming EP, ‘360,’ which drops on August 29, few days before the concert.

The six-track project explores music through the five senses, diving into themes of mindfulness, spirituality and self-awareness.

Augustt in August has become more than a concert. It is now a platform for empowering female artists in Ghana's growing alternative music scene.

Beyond performances, the event provides training and live band experience for emerging talents, offering valuable skills in stagecraft, harmony and live arrangement techniques.

“This is an opportunity for these incredible women to hone their craft with a full 10-piece band, nurturing the next generation of performers,” said Susan Augustt about the event's mentorship component.

Since its inception, Augustt in August has evolved beyond a traditional concert format into a platform specifically designed to elevate female voices in Ghana's music industry and create sustainable support systems for women artists.

This event represents Augustt's broader commitment to building an ecosystem that supports women in music while celebrating Ghanaian identity through globally-influenced sounds.

With its blend of powerful themes, futuristic Afrocentric aesthetics and soul-stirring performances, this year's edition is expected to be Susan's boldest yet.

Tickets are currently available for what organisers describe as a soulful, empowering and genre-defying experience that invites audiences to be part of a movement where music, womanhood and culture converge.
