Yellow Lamborghini: Shatta Wale not being investigated over money laundering, says PRO Sammy Flex

Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale who was detained by the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) yesterday, has been released, according to his team.
The artiste's Public Relations Officer, Mr Sammy Flex said in a social media video that "after interrogation and everything, Shatta Wale is not involved in any money laundering, as some people are putting out - those are lies, total falsehood".
He decried the "falsehood" being peddled by some "credible news portals".
He said when Shatta Wale went to EOCO "voluntarily" in the company of his legal team, he "defended the fact that he bought his car".
Sammy Flex added that he was "sure" what was "in contention" was "how he paid taxes on some of the... the car [Yellow Lamborghini] he bought".
"Now what EOCO is saying is that they still want to have him to investigate the car, the tax, and all the issues around his company and all that. Therefore, before they can continue with the process, they want to give him bail - a bail of GHS10 million with two surities [which] have been placed on the issue as it stands now," he expatiated.
