Charterhouse Productions has announced the date for the 24th edition of Ghana’s premier and flagship music awards event the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs).

Charterhouse made the announcement in a statement issued on Thursday, March 2, 2023.

The organiser, Charterhouse disclosed that this year’s VGMAs, will be held on Saturday, May 13.

The venue will be the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Center (AICC).

Nominations opened for this year’s VGMAs in January and closed on February 12.

The stated year under review is Saturday, January 1, 2022 to Saturday, December 31, 2022.

The VGMAs honours artistes, artiste management, record producers, composers, instrumentalists, and activists.

The event will be televised locally and internationally.

Lynx Entertainment and EMPIRE Africa signee KiDi is the current holder of the ultimate VGMAs award; Artiste of the Year.
